- Overview
Our Cape Peninsula Tour is a full day tour designed to showcase the most breathtaking parts of the Cape. Your journey begins along the world-famous Chapman Peak Drive, followed by a scenic stop in Hout Bay, where guests can enjoy an optional boat trip to the local seal island. The tour continues through the Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to dramatic cliffs, fynbos landscapes, and occasionally sighted Cape Mountain Zebras. At Boulders Beach, you’ll visit the famous penguin colony before relaxing on one of the area’s pristine beaches. As one of Cape Town’s most popular day tours, it offers a perfect balance of wildlife, coastline, and unforgettable scenery.
Travel along the spectacular Cape Peninsula coastline to Simon’s Town, home of the South African Navy. We will pass through charming historical fishing villages, secluded coves and pristine sweeping beaches. Enjoy lunch at the famous Brass Bell Restaurant, overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean, in Kalk Bay Harbour. Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which is acclaimed as one of the great botanical gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.
We then visit the beautiful Boulders Beach which is the only place in the world where you get up close to the African Penguins. We then head to the Cape of Good Hope which is the most southwestern tip of the African Continent. With its diverse habitat, ranging from rocky mountain tops to beaches and open sea, the Cape of Good Hope is home to at least 250 species of birds. En route back to Cape Town, we drive over Chapman’s Peak, on the Atlantic Coast, which is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world.
